NASCA Press Release: Marc Held Announced as 20 Under 40 Award Recipient
New York, NY — The National Association of State Chief Administrators (NASCA) proudly announces Marc Held, Managing Director in Ernst & Young’s (EY) Real Estate Advisory practice, as a NASCA 2025 20 Under 40 Award winner. This prestigious award recognizes 20 outstanding individuals from across the country for their exceptional contributions to state government.
With 17 years of experience advising government clients, Held leads future-of-work engagements for public agencies across the country. Held has supported major initiatives for the states of Tennessee, North Dakota, and Arizona, as well as federal agencies such as the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His work has helped clients optimize millions of square feet of public real estate and identify hundreds of millions in long-term savings.
Emily Summers, Senior Director at EY, commended Held’s commitment to excellence and the exceptional impact he’s had on the EY team.
“Marc is an exceptional leader whose dedication and generosity have positively impacted both the teams he mentors and the clients he supports,” said Summers. “His unwavering commitment to sharing his time and knowledge has fostered growth and success within our organization and enabled him to deliver tangible value for our clients.”
Held is a certified Project Management Professional, a guest lecturer at New York University’s Schnack Institute of Real Estate, and an active NASCA committee member.
