NASCA Press Release: Courtney Iversen Announced as 20 Under 40 Award Recipient

Lexington, KY — The National Association of State Chief Administrators (NASCA) proudly announces Courtney Iversen, Deputy Chief Strategy Officer at the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO), as a NASCA 2025 20 Under 40 Award winner. This prestigious award recognizes 20 outstanding individuals from across the country for their exceptional contributions to state government.

As NASPO’s Deputy Chief Strategy Officer, Iversen provides strategic vision, management, and operational support to the Division’s seven key programs and its directors. These include the Strategic Partnership program, Marketing and Media strategies, NASPO’s Innovation Hub program, eProcurement Services, Online Solutions, Membership Services, as well as the Procurement Talent Development program.

Iversen brings a unique blend of public and private sector experience, having previously served in the New Jersey State Procurement Office and the Office of Homeland Security, with a focus on IT projects and procurements. Since joining NASPO, she has held various key roles, including Cooperative Portfolio Manager and Deputy Chief of Supplier Engagement Strategy.

NASPO CEO Lindle Hatton applauded Iversen’s leadership and commitment to excellence.

Iversen earned her bachelor’s degree from Monmouth University and currently resides in New Jersey.
