This unique, six-month leadership series is customized for state government leaders such as state CAOs, senior leaders, deputies, agency heads, and chiefs of staff who can benefit from relevant, timely, and in-demand operational skill-building that will apply to their real-life work through in-person events and cohort activities.

You can expect engaging in-person and virtual content introducing participants to applied professional development. Hosted by NASCA and facilitated by Envoy, the workshops drive home themes, create space to work through exercises, and coach each individual through their toughest challenges. Cohort participants will experience thoughtful discussions, collaborate with other state leaders, receive critical tools, and participate in ongoing cohort engagement.

The series will kick off in December 2023 in Arlington, Virginia, with two full-day, in-person sessions. We’ll continue the learning virtually with two sessions between January and April 2024. The second in-person session will coincide with the NASCA Annual Leadership Conference at Kiawah Island, South Carolina, in May 2024. The series offers flexibility for state leaders - you can choose to participate in one or both in-person sessions.
