Goins, a career government and association management professional, assumed her new role March 9. She has more than 25 years of government, policy, nonprofit and association experience, most recently as chief operating officer of The Gathering Place. Goins’ previous employment includes more than 10 years at The Council of State Governments and eleven years in state government at the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
