NASCA Names New Executive Director

LEXINGTON, KY — The National Association of State Chief Administrators (NASCA) has named Pam Goins as its new executive director. NASCA is a nonprofit organization representing the chief administrative leaders in state government, and is headquartered in Lexington, Ky.

Goins, a career government and association management professional, assumed her new role March 9. She has more than 25 years of government, policy, nonprofit and association experience, most recently as chief operating officer of The Gathering Place. Goins’ previous employment includes more than 10 years at The Council of State Governments and eleven years in state government at the Commonwealth of Kentucky. She received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and a master’s degree from the University of Kentucky.

“Pam Goins exhibits the leadership qualities we were seeking in our executive director, and I’m excited to see how she leverages her extensive experience and unique skills to benefit NASCA members,” said Dan Kim, NASCA President and Director of the Department of General Services for the State of California. “I know we are in great hands with Pam and the entire NASCA staff team.”
