​State chief administrators play a crucial role in ensuring that newly elected leadership can get off to a strong and productive start, and NASCA recognizes that an efficient transition is a key to that success. NASCA tracks which agencies and departments report to the State Chief Administrator directly in all 50 states.  This members-only chart provides the areas of responsibility and scope of work of each SCA, which varies widely.
