Annual Leadership Conference events will be held at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay, unless otherwise indicated on the agenda. The hotel is located at 2900 Bayport Drive, Tampa, Florida, 33607.

A special discounted rate of $175 per night plus taxes and fees is available to corporate partners, non-members, and invited guests registered for the Annual Leadership Conference.

The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is conveniently located just three miles from Tampa International Airport (TPA). With easy access to major highways, the hotel is a short drive to everything Tampa has to offer.

The cut-off date to reserve hotel room accommodations in our discounted block is April 14, 2023, or until the block is sold out. We encourage you to reserve early to avoid a sell-out situation. 


State Chief Administrators/Proxy and Individuals using Plus Membership Benefit:

NASCA will reserve your hotel room based on the dates requested in your registration. Up to 3 hotel nights are included in your state member dues and will be paid by NASCA. You will receive a hotel confirmation email approximately 10 days prior to the event. Please plan to present a credit card upon arrival to cover your incidental expenses.

If you are interested in extending your stay, additional nights may be available and must be paid on your own. The discounted rate of $175 plus taxes and fees is available for up to three days pre- and post event, subject to availability.

State attendees who cancel their reservations less than 72 hours prior to the event will be responsible for providing NASCA with payment for confirmed hotel nights. Please notify [email protected] in writing as soon as possible if you would like to change or cancel your reservation. Additional nights cannot be guaranteed after the cutoff date or if the room block is sold out. 


**Alert** There are scammers out there – and on occasion, they have contacted attendees claiming to be with NASCA Conference Housing. They are not. Please disregard. 


Airport and Ground Transportation

  • Airport: Tampa International Airport (TPA) is approximately 3 miles from the hotel. Information on travel from/to TPA can be found below, or on the TPA website.
  • Hotel Parking: Self-parking is available at the hotel for $18 plus tax per night. Valet parking is currently unavailable.
  • Car Rental: Access to on-airport rental car providers is available by taking the SkyConnect train from the Main Terminal. Service for most providers is available from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily. When leaving Tampa, you must arrive at least 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
  • Taxi Service: Taxi service is available at the curbside outside the Baggage Claim Level at the Ground Transportation Areas, Red 1 and Blue 2. Fares are $3.50 for the first 1/5 of a mile or part thereof, plus $2.50 per mile. The minimum fee from the airport is $20. Fees are subject to change.
  • Uber & Lyft Services: Guests departing the airport using Uber or Lyft can be picked up at Red Baggage Claim, Blue Baggage Claim or the Remote Curbside at the Rental Car Center. Note that a service fee of $5.00 is added to the cost of the fare.
